Terms Used In Texas Government Code 1505.151
- Population: means the population shown by the most recent federal decennial census. See Texas Government Code 311.005
This subchapter applies only to a municipality:
(1) that has a population of more than 1,000;
(2) that is located within five miles of the coast or of any gulf, bay, or inlet of the coast; and
(3) in which commercial fishing and shrimping is an established industry.
