Terms Used In Texas Government Code 1505.251
- Population: means the population shown by the most recent federal decennial census. See Texas Government Code 311.005
This subchapter applies only to a general-law municipality that:
(1) has a population of 5,000 or less; and
(2) is located on the Gulf of Mexico or a channel, canal, bay, or inlet connected with that gulf.
