Terms Used In Texas Government Code 1508.201
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
This subchapter applies only to a municipality that owns a sea life park and oceanarium for which any portion of the costs of construction, equipment, or development is paid from the proceeds of general obligation park bonds authorized by an election held in the municipality.
