- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
Within 30 days after the date an order of the department under Section 501.106 that imposes an administrative penalty becomes final, the person shall:
(1) pay the penalty; or
(2) file a petition for judicial review of the department’s order contesting the occurrence of the violation, the amount of the penalty, or both.
