(a) § 375.094, Local Government Code, does not apply to the district.
(b) The district may exercise the power of eminent domain in accordance with § 49.222, Water Code.

(c) The district may not exercise the power of eminent domain outside the district boundaries to acquire:
(1) a site for a water treatment plant, water storage facility, wastewater treatment plant, or wastewater disposal plant;
(2) a recreational facility as defined by § 49.462, Water Code; or
(3) a site for a road project.
