- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The district may serve as the court-appointed receiver in a matter determined by a court concerning the disposition of assets of any other district authorized by § 52(b)(1) or (2), Article III, or § 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, a municipally owned utility, or a water supply or sewer service corporation.
