Terms Used In Texas Water Code 7.310
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

With respect to a license, certificate, or registration issued by a county under a statute or rule within the commission’s jurisdiction, the issuing county may suspend or revoke the license, certificate, or registration on the grounds provided under § 7.303.
