1.  It is unlawful for a person to engage in the practice of barbering unless he or she is wearing clean outer garments which are suitable to allow the safe and hygienic practice of barbering.

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 643.203

  • Board: means the State Barbers" Health and Sanitation Board. See Nevada Revised Statutes 643.010
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
  • Practice of barbering: means any of the following practices for cosmetic purposes:

    (a) Shaving or trimming the beard, cutting or trimming the hair, or hair weaving. See Nevada Revised Statutes 643.010

2.  The Board shall adopt regulations which prescribe standards for the garments required by subsection 1.
