Federal courts are required by statute to take judicial notice of the contents of the Federal Register.  See FEDERAL REGISTER.  As a result, courts are required to take judicial notice of regulations published in the the Federal Register.{footnote}Crimm v. Missouri P.R. Co., 750 F.2d 703 (8th Cir. 1984); United States v. Wolny, 133 F.3d 758 (10th Cir. 1998) (upholding exclusion of regulation, offered by defendant, on grounds of irrelevancy).{/footnote}  Such evidence must nevertheless be shown to be relevant.{footnote}United States v.
