Statutory Privilege

The Business Records Exception.

While the federal rules contemplate that medical records will be admitted under this exception, some states exclude such records from the ambit of their business records exceptions.{footnote}Ill. Rev. Stat. ch. 110A, & 236 (civil cases); Ill. Rev. Stat. ch. 38, & 38-115-5 (criminal cases).  But see Ill. Rev.
