Terms Used In Alabama Code 2-15-92
- livestock market: as used in this division shall mean livestock markets which are subject to the requirements of Division 1 of this article. See Alabama Code 2-15-90
- year: means a calendar year; but, whenever the word "year" is used in reference to any appropriations for the payment of money out of the treasury, it shall mean fiscal year. See Alabama Code 1-1-1
A public weighmaster permit to operate scales at livestock markets as required under Section livestock market; sales at livestock market” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2021″ statecd=”AL” title=”2″>2-15-91 shall be obtained from the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries in accordance with Sections oath; certificate of appointment” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2021″ statecd=”AL” title=”8″>8-16-50 to 8-16-59, inclusive, and Section 8-16-106.
Permits required under this division shall be valid for one year as provided in Section 8-16-51.
