(a) This article may be cited as the Alabama Uniform Anatomical Gift Act of 1969.

Terms Used In Alabama Code 22-19-40

  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
(b) This article shall only apply to gifts made prior to January 1, 2004.
