Section 303 (e), Social Security Act, requires states to provide certain unemployment compensation information to child support enforcement agencies.
(1) The custodian of records is authorized to provide unemployment compensation information to a state or local child support agency, upon request, and for the purpose of enforcing legal child support obligations.

(2) The custodian of records is authorized to provide unemployment compensation information to a state or local child support agency that turns the information over to a private contractor for purposes of establishing and collecting legal child support obligations from, and locating, individuals owing obligations.(3) This authorization is contingent upon the existence of safeguards consistent with Section 303(e)(1)(B), Social Security Act, as determined in regulations issued by the Secretary of Labor.
