The provisions of Sections 36-6-5 and State Personnel Board recommendations; considerations” class=”unlinked-ref” datatype=”S” sessionyear=”2020″ statecd=”AL” title=”36″>36-6-6 shall not apply to the salary of the State Health Officer, the State Mental Health Officer, the Director of Industrial Relations, the Chief Examiner of Public Accounts, the Director of the Alabama State Port Authority, nor the executive non-merit level employees of the port authority appointed pursuant to subdivision (2) of Section 33-1-3.
