Courts of probate, within their respective counties, have authority to grant letters of administration on the estates of persons dying intestate, as follows:
Terms Used In Alabama Code 43-2-40
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Intestate: Dying without leaving a will.
- Probate: Proving a will
