Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 10.06.512

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • commissioner: means the commissioner of commerce, community, and economic development or a designee of the commissioner. See Alaska Statutes 10.06.990

An original and an exact copy of the articles of amendment shall be delivered to the commissioner for processing according to Alaska Stat. § 10.06.910 and for issuance of a certificate of amendment.
