A foreign limited liability company registered under this chapter shall have and continuously maintain in the state a registered

(1) office that may be, but need not be, the same as its office in this state; and

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 10.50.635

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(2) agent, who may be either an individual resident in this state whose business office is identical to the registered office, a corporation organized under Alaska Stat. Chapter 10.06, or a foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state, that has a business office identical to the registered office.
