- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
The term “teacher” for the purposes of Alaska Stat. § 14.50.030 – 14.50.100 includes teachers, school superintendents, and other public school employees covered by the state minimum salary schedule who would be qualified to receive federal money through the state.
