  • property: includes real and personal property. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

The Department of Public Safety and the chief of each fire department recognized under regulations adopted by the Department of Public Safety, and their authorized representatives in their respective areas, may enforce the regulations adopted by the Department of Public Safety for the prevention of fire or for the protection of life and property against fire or panic. All state peace officers may assist the Department of Public Safety in the enforcement of Alaska Stat. § 18.70.01018.70.100 and the regulations adopted under those sections. The authority conferred in Alaska Stat. § 18.70.01018.70.100 extends to the enforcement of the provisions of Alaska Stat. § 11.46.40011.46.430.
