  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

No more than five officers of a benevolent association may act for the association without obtaining a license as an agent. The officers shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the director in the same manner as though they were licensed as agents under Alaska Stat. Chapter 21.27.
