  • municipality: means a political subdivision incorporated under the laws of the state that is a home rule or general law city, a home rule or general law borough, or a unified municipality. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

A municipality may invest money in investment pools for public entities as authorized under Alaska Stat. Chapter 37.23 only if that municipality has obtained the consent of its governing body through an ordinance authorizing the participation.
