Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 33.05.010
- commissioner: means the commissioner of corrections or the designee of the commissioner. See Alaska Statutes 33.05.080
- Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
The commissioner shall administer a probation system and enforce the probation laws in the superior court.
