Alaska Statutes 41.15.150 – Criminal burning of forested land in the first degree

(a) A person commits the crime of criminal burning of forested land in the first degree if

Under the Alaska Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
Class B felony	up to 10 years	up to $100,000

person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(1) the person violates Alaska Stat. § 41.15.155; and

(2) the person’s actions or conduct violate a provision of Alaska Stat. § 41.15.010 – 41.15.130 or a regulation adopted under Alaska Stat. § 41.15.010 – 41.15.130.

(b) Criminal burning of forested land in the first degree is a class B felony punishable as provided in Alaska Stat. Chapter 12.55.
