A. Beginning July 1, 1994, the boundaries of the Tucson active management area are modified to exclude the portion of the upper Santa Cruz valley sub-basin included within the Santa Cruz active management area on that date. The modified boundaries of the Tucson active management area are shown on the map filed in the office of the secretary of state on June 10, 1994.

  • Active management area: means a geographical area that has been designated pursuant to article 2 of this chapter as requiring active management of groundwater or, in the case of the Santa Cruz active management area, active management of any water, other than stored water, withdrawn from a well. B. A true copy of the map identifying the modified boundaries of the Tucson active management area shall be on file in the department and shall be available for examination by the public during regular business hours. A true copy of the map shall also be filed in the office of the county recorder in the counties in which the active management area is located.
