The authority under which an existing bank is engaged in the banking business or the banking and trust business under the laws of this state before August 8, 1973 shall continue in full force and effect. The deputy director, may, and shall on request, issue a banking permit to such bank to evidence such authority without any further act on the part of the bank or the payment of any fee.

  • Bank: means a corporation that holds a banking permit issued pursuant to chapter 2 of this title. See Arizona Laws 6-101
  • Deputy director: means the deputy director of the financial institutions division of the department. See Arizona Laws 6-101
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
