The board may require successful completion of one or more professional courses offered by the board, the American Association for Respiratory Care, or the California Society for Respiratory Care in any or all of the following circumstances:
(a) As part of continuing education.
Terms Used In California Business and Professions Code 3719.5
- Board: means the Respiratory Care Board of California. See California Business and Professions Code 3704
- Respiratory care: includes "respiratory therapy" or "inhalation therapy" where those terms mean respiratory care. See California Business and Professions Code 3704
(b) Prior to initial licensure.
(c) Prior to consideration of a reinstatement petition.
