(a) The board shall elect a president, a vice president, and a treasurer. The officers of the board shall be elected by a majority of the membership of the board.

(b) The principal office of the board shall be located in Sacramento. The board shall hold a meeting at least once in every four months. Members of the board may meet by teleconference pursuant to § 11123 of the Government Code. Seven members of the board constitute a quorum.

  • board: means any entity listed in Section 101, the entities referred to in Sections 1000 and 3600, the State Bar, the Department of Real Estate, and any other state agency that issues a license, certificate, or registration authorizing a person to engage in a business or profession.   • Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
