The board may establish licensed land surveyor technical advisory committees to advise and assist the board with respect to the following:

(1) The review and verification of applications for licensure.

  • board: means any entity listed in Section 101, the entities referred to in Sections 1000 and 3600, the State Bar, the Department of Real Estate, and any other state agency that issues a license, certificate, or registration authorizing a person to engage in a business or profession. (2) The evaluation and investigation of potential violations of this chapter.

(3) The amendment, repeal, adoption, or revision of board rules, regulations, policies, or procedures.
