If 10 or more credit cards are issued by one card issuer for use by the employees of an organization, Section 1747.10 does not prohibit the card issuer and the organization from agreeing to liability for unauthorized use without regard to Section 1747.10. However, liability for unauthorized use may be imposed on an employee of the organization, by either the card issuer or the organization, only in accordance with Section 1747.10.

Terms Used In California Civil Code 1747.20
- Card issuer: means any person who issues a credit card or the agent of that person for that purpose with respect to the credit card. See California Civil Code 1747.02
- Unauthorized use: means the use of a credit card by a person, other than the cardholder, (1) who does not have actual, implied, or apparent authority for that use and (2) from which the cardholder receives no benefit. See California Civil Code 1747.02
