Prior to the hearing required by subdivision (a) of Section 1861.6, the defendant shall be served with all of the following:

(a) A copy of the summons and complaint.

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
