(a) Any bonds issued under this chapter, their transfer, and income therefrom shall at all times be free from taxation of every kind by the state and by all political subdivisions of the state.

(b) The authority is not required to pay any taxes or assessments upon, or with respect to, any project or property acquired by or for the authority under this chapter, or upon any income therefrom, or on or from any other assets or operations of the authority.

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Authority: means the California School Finance Authority, or any board, body, commission, department, or officer succeeding to the principal functions of the authority, or to which the powers conferred upon the authority by this chapter shall be given by law. See California Education Code 17173
  • Project: means the acquisition, construction, expansion, remodeling, renovation, improvement, furnishing, or equipping of an educational facility to be financed or refinanced pursuant to this chapter. See California Education Code 17173
