The state assents to the provisions of an act, passed by Congress and entitled “An act to provide for research into basic laws and principles relating to agriculture and to provide for the further development of co-operative agricultural extension work and the more complete endowment and support of land-grant colleges,” approved June 29, 1935, Public Law No. 1827-74th Congress.

The Regents of the University of California are authorized to receive all grants of money appropriated under the act of Congress, and to apply, use, and expend the grants of money for the purposes and in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in the act.
