(a) Each member of the Governor’s cabinet shall identify a senior manager within his or her agency who shall coordinate business support activities with the office.

(b) For the 2012-13 fiscal year and subsequent fiscal years, the office shall develop a budget in coordination with the Department of Finance pursuant to the state budgeting process, including the permanent transfer of associated positions.

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

  • State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Education Code 19427
