Notwithstanding subdivision (g) of § 1798.24 of the Civil Code, data collected, received, or prepared by the Demographic Research Unit for purposes specified in Section 13073.5 that contains personal information, as defined by subdivision (a) of § 1798.3 of the Civil Code, shall be exempt from disclosure under the California Public Records Act (Division 10 (commencing with Section 7920.000) of Title 1).
