If the local agency, under Section 8687.4, is a county, the amount contributed by the county shall not be reduced to less than an amount of money equal to the amount allocated to the county for the fiscal year prior to the disaster proclamation pursuant to § 2110.5 of the Streets and Highways Code.

  • County: includes city and county. See California Government Code 19
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
