“Interested person” includes, but is not limited to:

(a) Any interested state, local, or federal entity or agency.

  • State: includes any state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and any territory or possession subject to the legislative authority of the United States. See California Probate Code 74

(b) Any interested public officer or employee of this state or of a local public entity of this state or of the federal government.
