There is hereby created the Yolo County Transportation District. The jurisdiction of the district extends throughout the county, including all of the incorporated and unincorporated territory.

Terms Used In California Public Utilities Code 60004

  • County: means the County of Yolo. See California Public Utilities Code 60002
  • District: means the Yolo County Transportation District created by Section 60004. See California Public Utilities Code 60002
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
