- Developmental disability: as used in this chapter , means a developmental disability as defined in Section 15002(8) of Title 42 of the United States Code. See California Welfare and Institutions Code 4521
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
