Annually, not later than June fifteenth, the superintendent of schools for each local or regional school district shall file with the Commissioner of Education a report, on a form prescribed by said commissioner, showing the number of children of compulsory school age residing within the jurisdiction of such school district determined in accordance with the provisions of § 10-249 and such other information as said commissioner requires.
