The right of any person to a lottery prize that is paid in installments over time awarded pursuant to § 12-568 of the general statutes, revision of 1958, revised to January 1, 1995, or § 12-812 may be voluntarily assigned, in whole or in part, pursuant to the provisions of § 12-831.
