The utility commissioners, as defined in § 16-1, or their designees, shall have the authority to cause any work performed by any person involved in the transportation of gas, as such terms are defined in § 16-280a, to cease immediately if said work may endanger any person.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 16-7a
- Authority: means the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and "department" means the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. See Connecticut General Statutes 16-1
- Person: means an individual, business, firm, corporation, association, joint stock association, trust, partnership or limited liability company. See Connecticut General Statutes 16-1
