Any individual who is a licensed pharmacist in any other state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, may be licensed to practice pharmacy in this state in accordance with regulations adopted under sections 20-570 to 20-630, inclusive, in accordance with chapter 54.

Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 20-592

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • Pharmacist: means an individual who is licensed to practice pharmacy under the provisions of §. See Connecticut General Statutes 20-571
  • Pharmacy: means a place of business where drugs and devices may be sold at retail and for which a pharmacy license has been issued to an applicant under the provisions of §. See Connecticut General Statutes 20-571
