(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, on and after July 1, 2017, sections 34-243 to 34-283d, inclusive, govern all limited liability companies.

(b) For purposes of applying the provisions of sections 34-243 to 34-283d, inclusive, to a limited liability company formed before July 1, 2017: (1) The company’s articles of organization are deemed to be the company’s certificate of organization; and (2) for purposes of applying the provisions of subdivision (14) of § 34-243a and subject to subsection (d) of § 34-243f, language in the company’s articles of organization designating the company’s management structure operates as if that language were in the operating agreement.
