Any corporation which violates § 53a-276, 53a-277 or 53a-278 shall be fined, for a first offense, not more than two hundred fifty thousand dollars or twice the value of the criminally derived monetary instrument or instruments, whichever is greater, and for a second or subsequent offense, not more than five hundred thousand dollars or five times the value of the criminally derived monetary instruments, whichever is greater.
