(a) A person is guilty of vendor fraud in the fifth degree when he commits vendor fraud, as defined in § 53a-290, and receives payment for goods or services fraudulently provided in excess of two hundred fifty dollars.

  • Person: means a human being, and, where appropriate, a public or private corporation, a limited liability company, an unincorporated association, a partnership, a government or a governmental instrumentality. See Connecticut General Statutes 53a-3

(b) Vendor fraud in the fifth degree is a class B misdemeanor.
