§ 56-0501. Allocation of moneys.

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

1. Of the moneys received by the state from the sale of bonds pursuant to the Clean Water/Clean Air Bond Act of 1996, two hundred million dollars ($200,000,000) shall be available for disbursements for environmental restoration projects.

2. Beginning in state fiscal year two thousand fifteen–two thousand sixteen, environmental restoration projects may be funded using the proceeds of bonds issued pursuant to § 1285-q of the public authorities law provided that funding for such projects shall conform to the limitations provided in subdivision one of such section.
