Terms Used In Florida Statutes 634.34

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Person: includes an individual, company, corporation, association, insurer, agent, and every other legal entity. See Florida Statutes 634.301
Any person subject to an order of the department or office under s. 634.339 may obtain a review of such order by filing an appeal therefrom in accordance with the provisions and procedures for appeal from the orders of the department or office in general under s. 120.68.
