  • Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.

  • Lessee: means a person who acquires the right to possession and use of goods under a lease. See Florida Statutes 680.1031
  • Lessor: means a person who transfers the right to possession and use of goods under a lease. See Florida Statutes 680.1031
Incidental damages to an aggrieved lessor include any commercially reasonable charges, expenses, or commissions incurred in stopping delivery, in the transportation, care, and custody of goods after the lessee‘s default, or in connection with return or disposition of the goods, or otherwise resulting from the default.
