* § 201. Definitions. As used or referred to in this title, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context,

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

1. The term "authority" shall mean the corporation created by section two hundred two of this chapter;

2. The term "commission" shall mean the Long Island state park commission;

3. The term "Bethpage Park" shall mean the lands which the authority is authorized to acquire as hereinafter provided;

4. The term "bonds" shall mean bonds issued by the authority pursuant to this title;

5. The term "board" shall mean the members of the authority;

6. The term "comptroller" shall mean the comptroller of the state of New York.
