(1) Oregon State University may hold institutes for the instruction of citizens of this state in the various branches of agriculture at such times and at such places as the governing board of the university may direct. The governing board shall adopt standards as it deems proper for organizing and conducting the institutes, and shall employ an agent or agents to perform such work in connection therewith as it deems best.

(2) The course of instruction at the institutes shall be so arranged as to present to those in attendance results of the most recent investigations in theoretical and practical agriculture. [Amended by 2015 c.767 § 182]
